Freja is part of Copenhagen's ever-blossoming creative scene, a young musician who grabs her influences from many different places.
Intoxicating debut EP 'White Magic Spells' will be released on October 9th, a bewitching introduction to a talent who is not easy to pin down.
New cut 'Young Heart' is online now, and it features some beautifully shot visuals. Director Olivia Frølich explains: "Young Heart came to life during a four day long road trip to Italy during the summer of ’15. Four girls in a fully packed 2WD driving from the dodgiest of motels in Milan to the picturesque Salò at Lake Garda conceptually following four dogmas; A fixed camera, a new setting each day, location shooting only and staged performances in documentary settings."
"The idea and concept for the video was initially rooted in a curiosity for the French ’Cinema du Look’ and the young femme fatale of the eighties. A woman on the edge of sanity simultaneously in love and in heartache chasing emotional liberty – just like Freja does in the song."
Check it out now.
