‘SECTION 6IXTY’ VIDEO

Smoke Boys (fka Section Boyz) have been active since they dropped Don’t Panic 2 last month. A lengthy interview on Not For The Radio preceded the project dropping but since then, we’ve seen them headline at XOYO and release the video for “Hurry n Buy”, one of the standout tracks on Don’t Panic 2. Another clear standout on the project is “Section 6ixty”, a speaker knocker of a track that features Dimzy and LD from fellow South London rap collective 67. On their socials, the Smoke Boys have teased the drop for the visuals, which have since been released given the level of traffic their Instagram pages received.
The Mechanics visuals capture the two groups in a car park surrounded by bright lights, the finest German vehicles and smoke as they trade verses over the Every Money instrumental. With no chorus necessary, Swift, Dimzy, Deepee, Sleeks and LD trade hard verses that bring the best out of each other and make it hard to pick a favourite in the process. The video is a simple, low key affair that uses strobe light effects to light up the grit that captures the dark subject matter detailed in each verse.
Check out the video for “Section 6ixty” above.

Pioneering UK rapper SN1’s @JoeGrindSN1 details the ups and downs of a successful artist in new ringer ‘Aim’. Directed, Filmed & Edited By Ayrton Alexis, the Kaze Beats-produced beat can be heard to draw influences from the golden age of UK Hip Hop with which Grind’s rap collective SN1 (Spare No 1), alongside his brothers Gunna Dee, Joe Grind, Kyze and Tiny Boost, were and have been central in the genre’s history. In his lyrics, Grind playfully discusses about the ups and downs of being a rap artist and how he personally deals with its burdens.
“I get money, i’ve got fame. I’ve got haters, I’ve got snakes…”
