Following his debut on Link Up TV with his song “Sales & Joints”, aspiring drill artist DigDat now makes his debut on GRM Daily with visuals to his song called “Tactics”.

DigDat is still at the beginning of his career as he started making waves in the scene after dropping a Mad About Bars freestyle back in June. His most recent Kenny Allstar freestyle on BBC Xtra’s channel where he is joined by Hackney’s rapper Unknown T has also been receiving attention from fans, making it seem that DigDat might be “the next one to blow”.

‘Tactics” is a PlayDirty Music production and the video was directed by Kaylum Dennis.The visuals start by showing the artist chilling by a fresh German whip, dressed in a Trapstar outfit. The beat drops and we can see him spitting bars while enjoying his profit, counting notes and holding up his stacks like a cellular. He raps reminiscing about the times he would be broke and remembers sleeping on carpets then brings up the present when he now wears designer clothes and has no more financial issues after grinding from young.

At the end of the video he teases fans with what seems to be his next video, which is ready to drop already. His next song is called “Air Force” and it shows the artist running away with the help of a friend from what appears to be a robbery.

It seems that DigDat has been busy cooking up in the studio while working on upcoming visuals and he has managed to definitely get our attention to his next project.

Dagenham, East London based rapper, Tray Avlon, makes his Link Up TV debut with visuals to his song Don’t Lie. The song featured on his ALLXWNTR EP – which was released nine months ago and was produce by JP Soundz.

The visuals were directed and edited by JFBMP and produced by ALPHAOMEGA. The video starts with Tray Avlon parking a German whip outside to what seems to be his home. He comes out of the car bringing out a black leather bag in which he is probably hiding his stacks of money. He raps about his enemies always trying to take shots at him but he is always one step ahead so could never be caught off guard.

The video shows him bringing flowers to a very attractive woman who greats him at the house while the lyrics imply that is his main girl. His lyrics imply that he is linking multiple women but he studies their behaviour and knows not to trust them.

He changes scenery and we see Tray Avlon driving to his trap spot, this time in the company of a different woman, seemingly attractive. She appears to be the side girl with who he does moves and who he can bring around his trap spot. The beat breaks as the he changes his flow over the chorus to a more upbeat pace. Here he raps about wanting to be pleased by this girl but warns her not to become too needy as she’ll get blocked.

Tray Avlon continues rapping in his trap spot, the video showing captions of a table covered in cocaine while his workers are around taking care of business. His lyrics carry on being very raw about his fantasies and expectations he has from the girl he is in the trap with and knows she would fall for him after sleeping together.

The video takes us to the final scene  and this time it’s just him and the girl. She takes a pizza box out of the car’s booth and the caption of the writing “100% Mozzarella” implies he does business with “cheese”. The video ends with a capture of the girl firing a gun shot at an enemy whom they had kidnapped in the both.

The song has a strong message and the visuals have not disappointed. Looking forward to seeing future projects from Tray Avlon.

Known in the online media as the Voice of the Streets, DJ, producer and broadcaster Kenny Allstar is now getting ready to release his album called “Block Diaries”. For his first song off his upcoming project he joins forces with Tottenham’s rapper, Headie One, for a project produced by Nastylgia called ‘Tracksuit Love”.

The video is directed by Ray Fiasco and it shows Kenny Allstar and Headie One in a mansion decorated in a 90s’ style, welcoming their friends in to chill and celebrate their success. Both artists are shown in different scenes in the presence of very attractive girls who are wearing tracksuits as Headie One raps about liking girls who dress in that fashion.

The song is a celebration of the stigma associated to this type of fashion, mainly in relation to their lifestyle. In the intro, Kenny Allstar let’s us know that nowadays he does not even  care about dressing up when going clubbing no more, he just lets the organisers know he will be wearing a tracksuit. Headie One raps about the different designer tracksuit he wears, from the times he would be doing business wearing tracksuits to when he was locked behind bars, still wearing designer.

It is exciting to see such a good debut for Kenny Allstar and I am curious to see what he puts out next.

Camden, North West London based rapper, Ambush’s single Jumpy hit the channel just a few months back, quickly racked up the views and aiding in cementing the Buzzworl rapper as one of the latest talents in the UK’s Rap scene to begin rising above that glass ceiling a lot of rappers hit, his unique delivery and energy really sets him apart from the rest and it wasn’t long before Jumpy became one of the summer bangers everyone is playing at every party! To be honest, the song is so hard it could’ve been left without features but he really went and got some real UK superstars in Tottenham, North London’s Chip and Skepta, when the remix was announced, to say we were excited is definitely an understatement.

Both Chip and Skepta made the track more hype than it already was with some dope verses, having seen Ambush perform Jumpy at Strawberries and Creem last month, one can only imagine how mad it would be to see these three perform this remix live and direct. Definitely due to get rinsed all summer. The visuals are sick and really capture the jumpy vibes of just getting lit and flexing with your crew. You’ve gotta check this one out!
