‘THE MOVE’ (PART 2)

South London based story teller Rapman has returned with a brand new music video, coming back for a sequel to one of his most popular tracks.
The Move came out in 2015 and now he is back with his follow up track, The Move (part 2).
One of the best storytellers in the UK Rap scene, he explodes back into to the game with skilled lyricism and a distinct ability to engage us in every story he shares.
The video shows the rapper in the front seat of his car, detailing the planned move to who we instinctively assume is his friend, before he carries it out himself. It always feels like I am watching a movie when I watch one of Rapman’s music videos, he brings something so different to life in such an uncanny way.
My favourite line is “Look I don’t get shows and i don’t get views..I just do it out of love to try to educate the youth”
Rapman’s What’s The Story project drops today, 10th November! And of course it features this amazing track! Make sure you check it out for more incredible lyricism from the story telling lyricist himself.
Check out The Move (Part 2) above now.

‘CALL THE SHOTS’

Grime legends Wiley and JME link up for new musicC as they bring us the brand new music video to Call The Shots, after Wiley suggested his iconic music career sadly might be coming to a halt, but he happily surprised us with the announcement if a new music video and new forthcoming album The Godfather II being ready for preorder.
Wiley and JME never disappoint with their music, being two of the Grime scene’s most revered artists. After Wiley seemingly called it quits, all of his fans and Grime lovers alike mourned over the fact someone so influential in the UK music scene, was going to stop releasing records. JME on the other hand has been quite low key but is back with a bang with his trademark style on this huge collaboration.
The BBK artists joined forces with Kaylum Dennis to bring us these brand new visuals to this very sick song. The video is based around different parts of London, showcasing some of the areas and in their natural state. Both Wiley and JME grew around rougher parts of London, JME from Tottenham and Wiley from Bow. Involving snippets of London gives worldwide fans an insight into the areas and it’s only right to put North and East London on the map, as they have continuously been doing so for many years.
Wiley talks about being a “young boss” and now he “calls the shots”, and how he has come up from his younger years and upbringing. He bigs up BBK throughout the whole song also saying Grime wouldn’t be the same without them, and who are we to disagree?
Check out 3 minutes and 28 seconds of pure fire above.
