HORROR of the REVERSE MORTGAGE

One Annapolis resident has set up a fund to help another. They live just a quarter of a mile from each other. It all centers on a reverse mortgage and efforts to keep a senior citizen in his home.
WBAL-TV 11 News first reported on Robert Bennett and his reverse mortgage back in February 2014. Now he's run into some financial complications and a neighbor has set up a GoFundMe page to try to help.
Bennett, 72, is getting a little help from friends that he didn't even know he had in his battle to keep his Annapolis home.
"Well, I wouldn’t want to wish this on nobody, because like I said you really can’t have a good night's sleep because it's always on your mind," Bennett said.
The I-Team told you last year. How he and his wife, Ophelia, took out a reverse mortgage in December 2008, with the understanding they could stay in the house until they died, but the loan was placed in her name only. She died a month later.
Bennett learned under the loan agreement, he no longer owned the house and could be forced out. The AARP Foundation filed a lawsuit and continues fighting for him to remain in his home, but now it seems while working on those legal matters his home insurance and property taxes were paid by the mortgage company, which is giving him 25 days to pay back the funds. Now a neighbor is stepping in.
"I went over and introduced myself to Mr. Bennett because I hadn't met him and felt it was important to know him before I punched the GoFundMe page," Bronwyn Belling said.
The Capitol Gazette first reported on Belling starting a GoFundMe page. She is retired from the AARP and said she just trusted the funds would start coming in.
"The money will be paid directly to this loan servicing company that advanced his property tax payments and it will be paid to the insurance company or whomever it needs to be paid to satisfy these debts," Belling said.
The attorney representing Bennett, Jean Constantine-Davis, said, "We appreciate the efforts of Bronwyn Belling. We are hopeful HUD (Housing and Urban Development) will cooperate in getting this to a place where Mr. Bennett can stay."
Bennett is grateful for all of the donations.
"(There's) a lot of good people out there. Out of all the negative news we’re always looking at all the time, it’s still a lot of real good people out there," Bennett said.
The requested amount is for $13,000. So far, more than $10,000 has been raised online. To donate, visit the GoFundMe page.

TALES from the REVERSE MORTGAGE

DAYTON, Minn. After 32 years of living on the banks of the Mississippi, Jim Hamann is packing up a lifetime of memories.
"I'm stressed out. I'm stressed with the way the courts operate. Don't give a guy a chance to do what we are supposed to do,” he said.
Hamann started seeing his girlfriend, Delores Bistodeau, in the mid-1980s and moved into the home she shared with her late husband a few years later, but the pair, who'd both been married to other people before, never married each other.
"We loved each other just like everybody else,” he said. “There is common law marriage, but Minnesota doesn't recognize that, but we still had it common anyway.”
After Bistodeau developed dementia and Alzheimer's, Hamann discovered she had taken out a reverse mortgage on her home, and when she went to stay in a nursing home 7 months ago, Hamann realized the bank actually owns the house and he has no legal claim on the place they shared for 32 years.
"I'm sure this isn't what Delores thought she was getting into when she signed that agreement, but it is a pretty unfortunate outcome,” Dayton, Minn. Mayor Tim Mcneil said.
Before the Korean War veteran ended up on the street, former Marine, Greg Kahl, offered Hamann a place to live until he gets into the veterans' home, where he is on the waiting list.
"He's been in this house 32 years done maintenance on it. I think it's wrong. Just because they weren't married, doesn't mean he can't stay,” Kahl said.
For now, Hamann is getting ready to begin a new chapter in his life, but he says it's a shame he'll have to close the book on the place he called home for so many years.
"I think it's best just to move on and start a new life,” he said.

#GapeLovers9 with actress KELSI MONROE

*Warning: PIRATE RADIO presentation*

Sexy ladies Kelsi Monroe and Roxy Raye work their sexy curves and their stretchy buttholes in their scene in director Jay Sin's "Gape Lovers 9" for Evil Angel.
They both start out looking stunning in latex dresses with the asses cut out which would not work well in public (probably not OK for walking down aisles at the Piggly Wiggly) but are definitely awesome looking for porno and that's what really matters.  They each slick down each other's asses with oil and with the latex, that tease is fucking fabulous.  They show their assholes, jiggle their cheeks and just wow, make me want to reach through my laptop and get some, you know?
These two are fantastic at gaping their buttholes and they take some big, big dongs in their butts here and that is all well and good but the thing they each are super at is showcasing each other's gapes.  They both know how to get the dong going in and out to get that stretch going so that we can see these chicks gape their butts as wide as possible.  It's a skill.  I dig it.

MARGARET CHO meets DJ Princess Superstar

*Warning: PIRATE RADIO presentation*

Comedienne super-goddess Margaret Cho and rapper/DJ Princess Superstar have released this excellent video and song on iTunes about the sadness of not having a chunky booty in the butt-obsessed world that we live in.  I happen to be a white girl with a round shelf of an ass so I can not totally relate to this problem but I am so not a fan of any chick out there feeling badly about the bodies that they have.  The truth is that every single one of us has something that someone else wants to see naked.  It is just a fact.  Look at all of the porn on this site!  There is something and somebody for everyone out there!

Anyway, these two celebrate having functional butts and I am all for my butt and everybody else's butt being in working order.  You need to be able to sit down and poop right.  You just do.  I love how Superstar announces her decision to be the best pooper ever in the world where big booty chicks get all of the adoration.  We also get to see Cho's little inked-up rump as part of the video.  It's a nice, little rump and this tune is rad.

NATHALIE EMMANUEL meets GQ

*Warning: PIRATE RADIO presentation*

If Nathalie Emmanuel had her way, her character Missandei on Game of Thrones would have dated Robb Stark. If you think about it that for a minute, one, they would make a pretty hot couple and two, that would have changed everything in the seven kingdoms. While we will never get to enjoy that storyline, we can enjoy a look at a video for Nathalie's GQ fashion shoot.
Emmanuel, who seems to be taking the world by storm of late, poised for a pretty awesome underwear filled spread for GQ. While seeing her (almost) completely nude in the most recent season of Game of Thrones was incredible, these photos hold their own. It helps that Emmanuel is stunningly beautiful and from watching the video, she seems very down to earth. In her mind, the perfect date involves lots of talking and she doesn’t need a bunch of fancy things to make an evening wonderful. Beautiful and humble, now that is my kind of woman.
Emmanuel’s stock will undoubtedly continue to rise thanks primarily to her role in Furious 7, though she's currently filming the next chapter of the The Maze Runner series, The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials, and let’s not forget season 5 of Game of Thrones is right around the corner. Hopefully we’ll have more bathing in the river scenes for Missandei or maybe something even hotter…
Honestly, I can’t wait to see what happens next for Missandei and for Nathalie Emmanuel. Surely, it will be super hot and super awesome.

"Make NICK MCFARLANE a Pirate"

*THE SYNDICATE DOES NOT EXIST*
Kiwi artist Nick McFarlane, who designed the cover art for Prodigy's album The Day is my Enemy.
The Prodigy's new album comes with a striking cover image of a fox standing over a glowing cityscape.
Turns out that image is from Kiwi designer Nick McFarlane, who was asked to design the cover art for the Prodigy's sixth album by Liam Howlett, the frontman for the veteran dance-punks.
Howlett had seen McFarlane's work in his 2013 book Spinfluence: The Hardcore Propaganda Manual for Controlling the Masses, and decided it fitted the Prodigy's aesthetic.
"He saw my book in an art gallery, picked it up and something just resonated with him ... I got this email from him out of the blue. I thought, 'Holy shit, this is an incredible opportunity."
Problem was, McFarlane had never worked on album art before. And Howlett is a notorious perfectionist.
McFarlane ended up sending him 166 different designs over a six month period.
"It was a hard process. Nothing was working, and Howlett mentioned he was getting another designer involved. I thought, 'Oh bugger'. Eventually he said, 'How about a fox?'
He'd seen one at his recording studio, and said, 'They're rebels, they get hunted, they only come out at night, they're British ... wouldn't that be cool?'"
Howlett called McFarlane's final image "ominous and iconic" and it inspired the video for the album's first single, Nasty, which features the fox being hunted by suspicious characters across an urban wasteland. The image will also backdrop The Prodigy's live shows.
Luckily, McFarlane - who works in an Auckland advertising agency - is a fan of the band's new album.
"I've been listening repeatedly since it dropped. It's a big heavy beast, quite abrasive, quite punk ... I've always been a fan."

Underground soul: GA IN

*THE SYNDICATE DOES NOT EXIST*

K-pop's top shock diva Ga In is back with a pair of dark, sexy singles "Paradise Lost" and "Apple." The new tracks are off the Brown Eyed Girl member's Hawwah EP, titled after the classical Hebrew name for Eve a.k.a. the first woman created, according to the Bible.
"Paradise Lost" is the more striking of the two, based off the sound and video. Opening with ominous organs and strings, "Paradise Lost" opens with a nice balance of classical elements (piano, strings, sparse drums) and modern embellishments (booming beats, subtle electronica flourishes). But there's an unmistakable sinister sentiment as Ga In moans about wanting her lover to join her in paradise, her sweet vocals reverberating over the chorus' military march-like percussion.
The video is equally dark and seductive as a blue-haired Ga In writhes on the floor in a long, lacy gown and a black leotard amid images of a snakes slithering around the video set. There's loads of suggestive imagery -- from the choreography to Ga In letting droplets of water fall from a phallic-looking pipe -- but throughout it all Ga In looks strong and in control of her situation. It's only at the end, as Ga In sits on the ground as a horde of naked men crawl towards her, that she looks scared -- perhaps the moment where she loses the aforementioned paradise or the fantasy has gotten too intense for the brazen K-diva.
"Apple" is the second promoted single off Hawwah and features rapper Jay Park. On the surface, "Apple" sounds like the lighter single with its jazz-inspired production and sample of Fergie's "Fergalicious." (Who would have thought "Fergalicious" would one day make its way into K-pop?) But the lyrics tell a story of two people giving into their feelings towards one another, using the Bible story of Eve succumbing to temptation and biting the forbidden fruit as a metaphor.
The accompanying video is also sweeter, but just as seductive as "Paradise Lost" as Ga In hangs out in a backyard in a curve-hugging red outfit that showcases her "apple" very, very well.
Hawwah includes four other tracks including "Free Will," featuring popular rapper Dok2, the digital boogie track "The First Temptation," the soulful disco joint "Guilty" and more for one of the singer's strongest efforts to date.
While Ga In's global star blew up after co-starring in PSY's "Gentleman" video, she's managed to command global attention with boundary-pushing tracks ("Fxxk U" made Spin's Best Songs of 2014) and visuals ("Paradise Lost" earned more than one million views on YouTube in less than 24 hours).

Super skinny: Ultra-thin catwalk bodies could soon be thing of past
France is set to crack down on glamorising skinny female bodies by making it illegal to ‘incite extreme thinness’ by encouraging people to diet.
A new law voted through by MPs today is aimed at closing down websites and advertising that ‘provokes prolonged dietary restrictions’.
The new rules could also be applied to fashion advertising and catwalk shows that use underweight women models.
It will become illegal to ‘provoke a person to seek excessive weight loss by encouraging prolonged nutritional deprivation that could lead to health risks or death’.
Offenders will face fines of up to £35,000 and three-year prison sentences, the law states.

Fashion industry experts said that the law would be the strongest of its kind anywhere and could ‘transform the fashion industry worldwide’.
MP Maud Olivier, who proposed the bill in parliament, said: “Certain websites known as ‘pro-Ana’ can push people into a vicious circle of anorexia and authorities cannot do anything about it.
“This law is necessary and will not call into question the idea of freedom of expression on the internet.”
The French legislation comes after countries including Spain, Italy and Brazil all clamped down on skinny models at catwalk shows.
Spain has barred models below a certain body mass index from the Madrid fashion shows.
Italy has insisted on health certificates for fashion show participants.
And Brazil is considering demands to ban underage, underweight models from its catwalks.
Medical experts around the world have warned against the dangers of ultra-skinny catwalk models and images airbrushed to make girls look thinner, which they say encourage anorexia in girls as young as six.
Fashion guru Giorgio Armani said recently that the fashion industry had a duty to ‘work together against anorexia’.
He added: “The industry has to recognise the link between its preference for abnormally thin models and the growth in eating disorders among young women.”

Inside the TIDALforALL battle

*THE SYNDICATE DOES NOT EXIST*

This week rap mogul Jay Z has been a busy man.
On Monday he held a star-studded press conference with a line up of A-listers including Usher, Kanye West, Madonna, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and wife Beyonce.
Following the hyped-up event, on Wednesday, along with Tidal executive Vania Schlogel, the musician discussed his new music streaming venture with a group of students at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.
Jay-Z, Tidal launch
In a Q&A, the rap star answered questions delivered by NYU professor Errol Kolosine - prepared by students about everything from the company's equity structure to the future of the music industry.
Here's the full transcript.
Is Tidal competing with Spotify?
“I know everyone thinks "new company, main business competitor is Spotify" but we’re really not here to compete with anyone. We’re actually here to improve the landscape. If just the presence of TIDAL causes other companies to have better pay structure, or to pay more attention to it moving forward, then we’ve been successful in one way. So we don’t really view them as competitors. As the tide rises, all the boats rise.”
Boats? Will Tidal offer exclusive artist content?
"I don’t know. It’s available for streaming immediately. I don’t know where streaming will go in the future. The analytics that we’re seeing tell us that streaming is the next thing, and downloads are going down. I feel like with the history of this platform, from vinyl to where we are now, it just seems like the next logical step."
What was that cool DECLARATION you guys signed?
“Just a declaration that we’re going to work really hard to improve what’s going on in the pay system as we know it. You guys may have seen some of the stats like, Aloe Blacc had a song that was streamed 168 million times and he got paid $4,000. For us, it’s not us standing here saying we’re poor musicians. If you provide a service, you should be compensated for it. And not just artists — just think about the writers and the producers.”
Will people really pay for this?
“We believe that if you consume music for free, and that’s what you want to do, that’s your choice. There are good and bad parts of a democratic society — do what you like to do. I’m just talking to people who care about musicians and the music they consume... It’s not for everybody, and we’re not trying to force it on you but if that’s what you like and that’s what you really care about, then you have the option. And that’s what TIDAL is saying.”
Kanye West and Jay Z attend the Tidal launch event #TIDALforALL at Skylight at Moynihan Station
Isn't this just the rich can get richer?
“You never hear Tim Cook’s net worth whenever he tries to sell you something. Steve Jobs, God bless, he had to have been pretty rich — nobody’s ever said, “Oh, the rich getting richer! I won’t buy an iPhone!” Yeah, right. It’s not about being pretentious; again, this is a thing for all artists. You pay $9.99 for Spotify, so why not $9.99 for TIDAL. We’re not asking for anything else, we’re just saying that we’ll spread that money to artists more fairly.”
That's a valid point. But I'm not sold...
If a person can pay $6 for a bottle of water, something that used to be free, if someone can do that? I can definitely show you why you should pay for Lauryn Hill’s album. There are 14 reasons, it’s incredible. Someone’s changed our mindset to believe that that bottle of water is worth $6.”
Usher, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Madonna, Dead Mouse, Kanye West, Jay Z, Jason Aldean, Jack White, Daft Punk, Beyonce and Win Butler attend the Tidal launch event #TIDALforALL at Skylight at Moynihan Station on March 30, 2015 in New York City.
Ah, that makes sense. What else?
“Our whole thing is transparency — I think there does need to be transparency. If you went to Bordeaux or something, to look at wine, you’d probably think, “Oh, this is some bougie shit.” But if you went and you saw the craftsmanship, the work that went behind it, and someone’s gotta be picking the grapes, and the whole thing — if you saw the process of what it takes to make an album, maybe you’d have a great appreciation for it as well.”
