Marvel's Agents of SHIELD's next episode is to tie in with Captain America: The Winter Soldier, it has been revealed.
'One Door Closes' will see characters Bobbi and Macky board the same aircraft carrier that provided the setting for the showdown between Captain America and the Winter Soldier in the 2014 film.
In a further nod to Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Bobbi and Macky also encounter Agent Robert Gonzales, who will later rebuild SHIELD after the events of the film, Comicbook confirms.
'One Door Closes' will air in the US on Tuesday, March 31 at 9pm on ABC.
Marvel's Agents of SHIELD returned to ABC in the US on March 3, meaning UK fans watching on Channel 4 are a little over three weeks behind.
Adrianne Palicki (Bobbi Morse) has been promoted to series regular status for the new run of episodes, while Drea De Matteo (The Sopranos), Luke Mitchell (The Tomorrow People), Edward James Olmos (Battlestar Galactica) and Blair Underwood (Ironside) will all play guest roles.
Underwood will play the estranged ex-husband of Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) on the series.
