Britney Spears "Make Me..." (ft. G-Eazy)

Britney Spears"Make Me..." (ft. G-Eazy) (video)
Britney Spears fans seemed pretty bummed out by the recently revealed album cover to her forthcoming Glory LP, but a new music video for first single"Make Me..." seems to put the washed-out photo in context.

The clip begins with Spears and a few friends inviting a cute guy out to a special event, which turns out to be a video shoot. The clip then bounces between shots of the crew eyeballing a bunch of shirtless dudes crooning for the camera, rocking out on guitars, or putting on a sexy, big pec redo of Bob Dylan's cue card routine from "Subterranean Homesick Blues."

G-Eazy is also on-hand for a cameo, though his performance is broadcast from an undisclosed location off-set.

Ahead of Spears selecting someone for some onscreen smooching, we see her strolling through a brightly lit soundstage. A close-up of the scene looks suspiciously like what was snapped for the cover of Glory.

You can peep all the meta action down below, while Spears's new album arrives August 26 through RCA.

"Conspiracy Theory" with Star Trek (My RA)

*Warning: PIRATE RADIO is on the air*

I heard you hue-mans have a little problem with money? The last I heard was a Conspiracy Theory concerning your American government and something called a My RA?

That was an old conspiracy. 200 years ago, they thought the government was going to take their money out of a retirement account.

Yes, they were a uncivilized people back then. The My RA was for the poor who didn't have enough to put in a bank. You could start one for as low as $25 dollars and once it got up to $15,000 dollars the money was transferred to a place called Wall Street.

I don't get it. Don't you people need money? Where do you get the funds to buy a starship?

Well, you see...After the last world war, they stopped listening to the one faction of the country that was keeping them from advancing the inevitable future.

What was that?

Republicans. We purged them from government and things improved.

Father, my calculations have put us in the past, but not far enough.

Fool!...Well, let's go to the year 2016...and find these hue-mans called Republicans. They'll be perfect for our plan to destroy Earth.

Fine, let's go. I mean, who's going to say no to a bunch of friendly immigrants like us? How bad can these Republicans be?

...Let's not tell them...

The Meow Meows - 'Pretty If You Smile'

*VIVID RADIO is on the air*

The Meow Meows

Ska is often viewed as party music, as something to make a crowd go wild.
While it's extremely adept at this, ska has always carried a social message – from The Skatalites to The Specials, ska has always sought to educate, and entertain.
The Meows Meows, then, can call on something of a linage. The Brighton nine-piece are an explosive live act, supporting everyone from The King Blues to Motown legends The Temptations.
New track 'Pretty If You Smile' is a funky little number, with the band laying down a fat back-beat. The lyrics, though, dismantle sexism in society, asking if there could be another way.
Melanie Light directs the visuals, and you can check them out below.
Catch The Meow Meows at Boomtown on August 12th.

Kaymbo Shines "For the Lights"

*VIVID RADIO is on the air*

Atlanta-based, Montreal-bred MC Kaymbo Shines has been steadily cranking out videos for each track of his recent I Quit My Day Job EP, and Exclaim! is proud to give you your first look at his new set of visuals for EP cut "For the Lights."

The MC's latest clip focuses on a model spending a day poolside, fixated on finding the perfect angle for some selfies while Kaymbo delivers his bars in the background. He penned the lyrics while thinking about the current generation's obsession with social media popularity, and the short-lived fame that people experience when they're in what he calls the "light."

"The song comes from my perspective and experience with dealing with women willing to do the 'most' for celebrities, people with money, or anyone who can lead them to the 'lights,'"  the MC explained in a statement. "I saw a lot of people chasing the lights when I moved from Montreal to Atlanta, and both cities have plenty of examples of people trying to get into the light."

I Quit My Day Job is out now and can be heard in its entirety here. Watch the video for "For the Lights" in the player below.

Skrillex & Rick Ross "Purple Lamborghini"

*VIVID RADIO is on the air*

Skrillex and Rick Ross shared their contribution to the Suicide Squad soundtrack last month with "Purple Lamborghini," and while the movie itself isn't all that great, the two collaborators have now served up some visuals of their own to take your mind off the bust of a blockbuster.

The video shows the producer and rapper posted up in the club alongside the Joker, who soon hit the streets for a joyride in some fancy cars before finally hitting the water in an impressive-sized boat, meeting up with more henchmen who are up to no good.

Suicide Squad and its accompanying soundtrack are both out today. Watch the video for "Purple Lamborghini" in the player below.
