Britney Spears fans seemed pretty bummed out by the recently revealed album cover to her forthcoming Glory LP, but a new music video for first single"Make Me..." seems to put the washed-out photo in context.
The clip begins with Spears and a few friends inviting a cute guy out to a special event, which turns out to be a video shoot. The clip then bounces between shots of the crew eyeballing a bunch of shirtless dudes crooning for the camera, rocking out on guitars, or putting on a sexy, big pec redo of Bob Dylan's cue card routine from "Subterranean Homesick Blues."
G-Eazy is also on-hand for a cameo, though his performance is broadcast from an undisclosed location off-set.
Ahead of Spears selecting someone for some onscreen smooching, we see her strolling through a brightly lit soundstage. A close-up of the scene looks suspiciously like what was snapped for the cover of Glory.
You can peep all the meta action down below, while Spears's new album arrives August 26 through RCA.
