What if tonight we did a show for the people in radio who read our blog? We could change the future of BROADCASTING in America. Radio used to be a place where creativity was king. Now it's just talk shows and disc jockey hacks.



We could make something new and innovative for a comedy blog show.


Don't you wanna write something with heart and feeling?



Don't you wanna write a story with intelligent ideas?



"Welcome to Finkle Showcase Theater...TONIGHT, you're going learn to move objects with your mind."



Nope! Don't you do dare do it. It cost too much money to have intelligent ideas. Just stick to those cartoons and conspiracy theories about space aliens.



"Welcome to Conspiracy Theory with Frank Finkle...TONIGHT, we're going to talk about if Hurricane Irma is a hoax to sell you more batteries."



So, that's why radio stinks. If we can't change a station manager in a blog show, how can we change them in real life?

Tonight, why don't we do a social commentary on commercialism in children's cartoons. We can make FINKLE ROCK do it.



"You don't seem the same once you switched to Head & Shoulders shampoo with Cocoa Butter."



"Oh, you'll be fine. Once you use Head & Shoulders shampoo with Cocoa Butter."



On second thought it'll never work. We'd need to really shock the audience.


"Hey kids, do you like cigarettes? Smoke WINSTON."


"Did you say WINSTON cigarettes? The ones with the smooth rich flavor?


"That's right. WINSTON cigarettes goes down just swell with your morning breakfast.



Nah...we better not do that blog. Children might get the idea it's normal.



To smoke Winston cigarettes?



No, to use Head & Shoulders. It's a crappy shampoo.

"What'd 'ya mean our blog isn't funny anymore? We've got the Finkle Writer's Room working on us every week."



We know, we know. But, you see, you're just not getting the clicks like you used to.



"Those jokes are good. What's the matter with you people?"



Look, these things happen in comedy. The audience changes. They want something different and new.



"We can be different. We can do a relationship comedy. How about that?"



Ok, we can try it your way for a week. But we're not making you any promises.


"You heard the man. You've got a week to come up with some romantic jokes for me or I'm gonna punch you in the mouth."
