Karl Lagerfeld's cat Choupette made more money than you last year. A lot more.
The furry feline, who is the new cover star of US fashion magazine Lucky's 100 + Stylish Animals issue, scooped £2,172,625 from just two jobs.
One was a collaboration with cosmetics brand Shu Uemura and another was a job posing for a Vauxhall Corsa car calendar.
"She did two jobs and made 3 million euros last year," he said. "One was for cars in Germany and the other was for a Japanese beauty product, Lagerfeld, 81, told fashion site The Cut.
Choupette reportedly also has her own maids and has her own iPad and eats next to the Chanel creative director at the table from Goyard china.
She also starred on the cover of Vogue with Gisele Bundchen and has her own Twitter account.
Cat lover Karl explained: "She hates other animals and she hates children.
“She stays always with me and she has two personal maids. They play with her, they have to take care of her beautiful white hair, the beauty treatments for her eyes, and they entertain her. She is the centre of the world. If you saw her, you would understand.”
“She is kind of Greta Garbo,” he said.
“There is something unforgettable about her, the way she moves, the way she plays. She’s an inspiration for elegance. For attitude.”
