Grime legends Wiley and JME link up for new musicC as they bring us the brand new music video to Call The Shots, after Wiley suggested his iconic music career sadly might be coming to a halt, but he happily surprised us with the announcement if a new music video and new forthcoming album The Godfather II being ready for preorder.
Wiley and JME never disappoint with their music, being two of the Grime scene’s most revered artists. After Wiley seemingly called it quits, all of his fans and Grime lovers alike mourned over the fact someone so influential in the UK music scene, was going to stop releasing records. JME on the other hand has been quite low key but is back with a bang with his trademark style on this huge collaboration.
The BBK artists joined forces with Kaylum Dennis to bring us these brand new visuals to this very sick song. The video is based around different parts of London, showcasing some of the areas and in their natural state. Both Wiley and JME grew around rougher parts of London, JME from Tottenham and Wiley from Bow. Involving snippets of London gives worldwide fans an insight into the areas and it’s only right to put North and East London on the map, as they have continuously been doing so for many years.
Wiley talks about being a “young boss” and now he “calls the shots”, and how he has come up from his younger years and upbringing. He bigs up BBK throughout the whole song also saying Grime wouldn’t be the same without them, and who are we to disagree?
Check out 3 minutes and 28 seconds of pure fire above.
