Pittsburgh based artist Troxum has always had a conceptual bent.
So when the producer began approaching a full length project fans knew that something different, something unusual would emerge.
'Gaia Lesson' will be released on Telefuture Records this September, with Troxum insisting on a special 24-karat gold CD pressing - so they won't degrade like normal CDs.
The music itself continues those electronic meditations so prevalent on his early EPs, with Troxum introducing new hues and colours.
Clash is able to preview the record with new cut 'Ediacarana'. The heavily pixellated visuals fuse the natural world with the digital realm, matching the machine abstraction of the music itself.
