The video was directed by the band's Peter Ricq, who wrangled up a spectral pair of Fry Guys to sway to Humans' cinematic swell of moody guitar and thunderous percussion.
The camera soon pans out to put on display towering, six-string slingin' skeletons seemingly birthed from Daft Punk's "Around the World" video, as well as supporting snare whappers and some bobbling, wide-mouthed creatures crafted by puppeteer Dusty Hagerüd.
"We met Dusty, a talented puppeteer, on our last video "Tell Me"," Ricq said in a statement. "He actually took our puppets home and fixed them since they were so poorly built. After seeing how affective and amazing he was, I really wanted an excuse to work with him again."
Speaking about putting together the elaborately coordinated puppet-and-person performance, he added: "This was one of the biggest crews I've had on set for a video and I gotta say, everyone was pleasant to work with, even when the six drummers were banging on their snare drums all at once."
