A porn star has been kicked off the latest series of The X Factor after she was recognised by a member of show staff during auditions.
A security guard remembered 24-year-old Brooklyn Blue, real name Becky Constantinou, from one of her X-rated movies.
Brooklyn, who used to date Kirk Norcross, had been through three auditions before her past was revealed.
“The guard came up to me with a knowing smile and said, 'I know you from somewhere, you're that Brooklyn girl,'" she told The Sun.
“A few days later I got a call from the show makers asking if I'd done any modeling and my stage names.”
Brooklyn said she realised then that the security guard must have said something, but chose to dodge their questions.
Eventually she decided to tell the truth and came clean to X Factor bosses in an email.
She continued: “I know X Factor is a family show, but porn shouldn't define who I am. I was never going to put on a sex show for Simon.”
A show source said she was told she'd couldn't go further after they did background checks.
