Courtney Schlinke, 21, is alleged to have raped a girl under 16 on multiple occasions.
Among the complaints are 16 counts of rape by instrumentation, nine of lewd acts with a child and eight of oral sodomy, records show.
Her arrest comes after a woman phoned Oklohoma City police in early July alleging Schlinke and the girl had a sexual relationship.
Quizzing the alleged victim, officers heard allegations of at least 70 encounters over an eight-month period.
Valley Brook Police chief, Michael Stamp, told local news station Fox25 that Schlinke resigned on July 20 in an unrelated personnel matter.
She had been a police officer for about four months and was still attending an academy, doing police work under a trained officer, he said.
He told the broadcaster: "We've been trying to make changes out here for a long time.
"These guys have to realize police officers are held to a higher standard,"
"We're going to continue to move forward. This doesn't define who we are."
Schlinke remains in the Oklahoma County jail in lieu of payment of a £706,000 bail. She has not yet been charged.
