Data released by Pornhub has revealed that over the course of the year, "British chav" porn was the second highest gaining search term, second only to celebrity sex tapes.
What's more, it took the top two spots on the relative search charts, which tracks how UK tastes differ from the rest of the world.

Compared with 2014, the term climbed 23 spots to reach the 9th most searched term overall, representing an increase in popularity of 312%.
That makes it one of the fastest growing genres in Britain.

We don't know whether its prevalence online is a symptom of austerity or a reflection of 2015's sporty fashion collections, but one thing's for certain – a lot of people are digging it.
