Summer 1989, Nevada desert. No pool, no escape. Plenty of beer, and no shortage of badass bikinis… what´s a girl to do?

Robin Waters of swimwear label Don’t Blow The Illusion collaborates with and photographer/stylist pal Brooke Olimpieri and model Model Shelby Bay to debut her 2016 Bahamas-themed swim line. Robin pulled from her Bahamian snaps to supply and inspire the ever-present Islander meets Americana fusion; the kaleidoscope motifs of palms and pink flamingos bring visual stimuli while the cuts merge mid-century pinup with contemporary sexpot. Brooke brought her Nevada-native flavor into the mix to bring us a unique first look at the line.
