After delivering the standalone single "First World Problem" back in May,Unknown Mortal Orchestra have now given their tune the music video treatment.
Directed by Kiani del Valle and James Lees, the video sees del Valle and fellow dancer Derek Schiesel exhibit some forceful choreography indoors and out. NME reports that del Valle revealed in a press release that her goal was to "create a dialogue between both art forms" of music and video.
"I wanted the video to be the response to Ruban's lyrics and musical melodies rather than showing literally what the song is saying," she explained. "There are always two sides to one story and the video piece is her side of the story. I am a heavy fan of silent films and how unspoken language could add a second layer to the one we speak."
