Pirate radio has always been one of the main sources of creative flux in British music.
The Skints grew up listening to pirate broadcasters, attempting to tune in for the latest DJ set or MC clash.
New album 'FM' is a homage to the golden era of the pirates. Out now, it blends the material to give the effect of a broadcast, a seamless if chaotic whole that wanders between genres.
'Friends & Business' is a high point. Packed with energy and tonnes of soul, it immediately became a stand out in The Skints' live set.
Clash is able to premiere the video for 'Friends & Business', and it uses home shot footage of the band on their travels.
Check it out now.
