The petition, which has already gained 7,468 supporters, reads: “Already sick of Paloma Faith's awful rendition of ‘World In Union’?
"Worried that it might ruin your Rugby World Cup? Then sign this petition and let ITV know your thoughts!”
It carries on: “We, the undersigned, request that you, ITV, remove Paloma Faith from the Rugby World Cup in order to make it a more enjoyable experience for all spectators”. Bit harsh.
Paloma, 34, has faced a barrage of criticism from rugby fans online, some of whom are accusing her of "absolutely murdering" the song.
Speaking to BBC Newsbeat, Paloma said: "Some people are slating it, I feel like they don't like change, but I don't mind.
"I think they don't like it because it's being played too much."
She shouldn't let it get to her too much, there's going to be a lot more direct criticism to come when she judges the new series of The Voice this year.
Paloma and Boy George are joining veteran judges will.i.am and Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson, and met up on Friday night to kick off the blind auditions in Manchester.
