Former port star-turned devout Christian Brittni Ruiz (formerly Jenna Presley) says that a person "without a vision is like a plane without a destination.
In her Facebook page, Ruiz quoted Proverbs 29:18, which says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish."
She wrote on her Facebook page, "Without a vision for your life you will be like an airplane without a destination. Eventually the plane will run out of gas and crash. If you do not have a vision for your life you will lose hope and could fall into depression. Some of you are only depressed because you have no hope because you don't know what you're fighting for. Seek God and ask him to show you your life's purpose. Once you have a vision, stop at nothing to see it come to pass."
Since turning to Christ and leaving her previous life as a drug-dependent and heavy drinking porn star, Ruiz has dedicated her life to Christ and is using her experiences to help other girls who want to get out of the porn industry.
In fact, it was while she was high on drugs on her way to a porno shoot in 2012 that she found her calling and accepted that God has a special purpose for her. On board a plane going to Los Angeles, Ruiz brought a Bible and began reading from the second passage of the Book of Revelation that talks about Jezebel, a woman who uses her body to deceive people and commit sexual immorality without accepting that she needs to repent.
John the Apostle writes in Revelation 2:20. "Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds."
She stated, "It was speaking about this adulteress woman. [It said] God had given her plenty of opportunities to repent ... and that God would cast her into hell and I was like, 'Oh my goodness. I'm the adulteress woman.' 'He's given me time to repent. What's my problem?'"
Ruiz narrated that her grandparents introduced her to the Lord but she returned to pornography when she hit rock bottom and with no money. By December 2012, Ruiz said she completely moved away from the sinful pornography industry after she felt peace and happiness with the Lord.
Ruiz recalled that the Bible passage hit her hard that she does not want to shoot the scenes anymore. However, with only $5 in her pocket and rent on her apartment due soon, Ruiz said she decided to go ahead and shoot the scene, but that would be her last adult movie, Western Journalism reported.
"After I filmed that scene I thought, 'There's no looking back.' I got super involved in the church very quickly. I love Jesus and I'm all for him. I want to do everything according to his word," she said.
The former porn star, who made hundreds of adult movies and involved in prostitution, reinvented herself as an advocate for women who wants to leave the porn industry and leave a Christ-centered lives. Brittni is thankful for her friendship with with Rachel Collins, a member of the XXXChurch organization, that helped her come to know the love of God while she was involved in pornography.
"I never felt love in my life, and was looking for it in all the wrong places," says Brittni, "I have finally encountered the unconditional love of God, and I will never go back."
