Kush from Ounto Nation unveils the visuals for his latest track entitled, ‘Gotta Get It’.
For those who don’t know, because they must’ve been asleep for the past year, Kush is a rapper from the collective Ounto Nation. Ounto Nation also includes Abra Cadabra, Legz, Kash and Poppy- all of whom grew up in Tottenham and share similar backgrounds.
Hailing from Broadwater Farm, in Tottenham, Kush has experienced a lot in life which he shares through his music. He spoke with GUAP, in April 2017, where he disclosed that he finds it easier to talk when he’s writing. This is probably a major key in why his music is so deep and relatable, because he keeps it real and doesn’t lie in his raps.
Kush also admitted that he wasn’t that confident so in order for us to hear his music then it would most likely have to be leaked.
Well, we’re glad to know that something has changed because not only are we hearing music from Kush but we’re also seeing fitting visuals to accompany his fire tracks. It’s safe to say that Kush has been effortlessly and confidently dropping bangers for a while now.
Kush collaborated with Abda Cadabra last year on songs such as 4/20 Ounto and The Roads. He was also on the well-known Ounto Nation Mixtape entitled ‘To Da World & Back’.
In February 2017, Kush dropped Valentine with Abra Cadabra and definitely made his way onto everyone’s playlist with that track. It’s a timeless tune and I will admit that I’m completely guilty of playing it back to back and getting in my feels.
Last month, August 2017, Kush dropped the dark and gritty visuals for the banger entitled Poppin with Legz on Pressplay Media. Every track he drops his vocals on is a wavy tune and if you have a listen then his talent speaks for itself.
The latest track Gotta Get It sees Kush, yet again, spitting that real and keeping the fans enticed. If you’ve been slacking then this will be the perfect anthem to give you the motivation to go and get it- whatever it is you gotta get!
Kush knows exactly what he’s doing because everything from the instrumental and bars down to the visual are just what the music scene needs. He shows his ends visually whilst speaking of them, and how they contributed to making him who he is today, which is the perfect way to get your fans to feel you and relate.
Anyone here Team Kush? Me too.
