As Keith Richards once observed: "Hallowe'en... one night for you - every night for me."
But if one figure truly embodies the darkness, the eeriness of All Hallow's Even then it's probably Frank Carter.
For the length of his career the frontman has walked on the dark side of the road, from those intense early Gallows shows right up to his current work.
New album 'Modern Ruin' arrives on January 27th, a fresh, vivid document from the freewheelin' rock 'n' roll implosion that is Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes.
Ahead of this, VIVID is able to share the video for new cut 'Lullaby'. Shot, produced and directed by Frank Carter and band mate Dean Richardson, it's a simple yet astonishingly effective video.
Frank is shown alternating between nightmarish sleep and tortured, traumatised wake, the sheer terror of the experience etched on his face.
Powerful stuff - watch it below.
