FELIN know that music and visuals must compliment one another.
A pop universe unto themselves, the Swedish project is helmed by songwriter Elin Blom and photographer/ director Fredrik Etoall, and together they make glamorously creative melodic vignettes.
New cut 'Bored' is online now, and it's about escaping the drabness of the everyday. FELIN explain that 'Bored' is about "always seeking thrills. A song for all the restless souls out there, but also a reflection over the world today where everything has become so accessible that we become bored as soon as we have a moment to reflect. But also it's just a song about getting high with people you love and never wanting the night to end."
As for the lavish video itself, the shoot took place in Tokyo during the most informal of circumstances. "We are always creating wherever we go," they continue. "No matter if it’s out on the countryside in Sweden, in a dirty motel somewhere, in the studio or when we travel to different places around the world. The video for Bored is shot on a rooftop in Tokyo. Fredrik had a camera and I had a bottle of wine and we started filming. The next day when we looked through the material to see what happened we realized we had shot FELIN’s next video."
The video airs first on VIVID - check it out now.
'Bored' is out now on Sony Music.
