Lauren Williams has the longest-known legs in the US - with the eye-catching limbs measuring in at an incredible 49 inches from hip to heel. 

Her 4ft 1in pins blow the 47-inch legs of New York's Brooke Banker out the of the water, after the fellow model laid claim the longest limbs in the Big Apple. 

Sporty Lauren, from Houston, Texas, revealed she has always had longer legs than her peers, and believes her pins must be America's biggest. 

Lauren, 26, who stands at 6ft 4in, said: "It's interesting to me that this is a title I now hold.

Lauren's height and long-legged genes can be attributed to her family as her mum, dad and twin sisters are all 6ft or taller.

She has size 10 feet, and revealed she can find it tricky to buy clothes that fit.

When modelling, single Lauren - who has worked on campaigns for global brands such as Nike - does everything from sports and fitness to high fashion and swimwear.

Having played volleyball in college, as well as being extremely active, Lauren also enjoys shooting sporty campaigns.

She added: "As a competitive athlete this is an industry that I'm very comfortable with the work I do.

"I have a lot of background knowledge in the field, which has helped a lot."

As well as modelling, Lauren works as an educator at a children's museum in Houston and enjoys travelling.

When out and about, her striking looks and long limbs mean she gets comments about her legs on a daily basis.

She said: "Pretty regularly I have people comment on how tall I am or how longs my legs are.

"I don't recall a time when I realised I had such long legs, it was just always something about me.

"Most of my friends and family members are very excited about my title-they are always commenting on how lucky I am."
