In the fourth season of Jerry Seinfeld's charming Crackle series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee debuted yesterday with the always-delightful Sarah Jessica Parker, and the episode shows both Seinfeld and SJP in a nostalgic mood. Blame it on the 1976 Ford Country Squire they cruise around New York in for the episode. The station wagon is a brand-new acquisition for SJP and she is stoked about it.

"I can't get over how gorgeous it is," Parker says. "There's just a huge amount of glass. I grew up in a car like this. I spent so much time in a car like this." She describes her station wagon-based childhood so vividly—Mad Libs, suitcases piled on the luggage rack—that it's almost as if we're right there with her, breathing in the gas fumes. Unfailingly polite and considerate, she hops out of the car at one point to go on a Starbucks run for Seinfeld, who is already jonesing for caffeine.

They drive out to Seinfeld's childhood home in the 'burbs and reflect on what's great about the present and what they miss about the past. Parker misses the anticipation of the busy signal, while Seinfeld loves Amazon's one-click ordering, saying, "One click, that's it. Need me to click twice, I don't even want it anymore."

And when they eat diner food in Long Island, we learn that SJP does the "move-the-decimal" trick to figure out the tip. She suggests leaving $10 on a $37 check, and Seinfeld says, "Everyone's going to ask her, 'Oh my God, you waited on Jerry Seinfeld and Sarah Jessica Parker! How much did they tip you?' What do you want her to say?" SJP pronounces the amount he leaves to be "vulgar. No, it's lovely. I'm a total shit." It's sweet, like she thinks she's a normal instead of one of the biggest celebrities in the world.

And when it's SJP's turn to drive, she switches lanes and gets some honks while declaring, "You're not going to trust me, I'm actually a really good driver." Look for her in New York City in the 1976 Ford Country Squire, although she was just papped packing up a modern station wagon for a trip to the Hamptons. Girl loves her station wagons.
