‘LIARS IN THE BOOTH’ VIDEO

Following the release of his Snake EP, – a trio of Dot Rotten diss tracks, P Money unleashes the brand new music video to Liars In The Booth.
Liars In The Booth viciously addresses some more of the gripes P Money has with former OGZ emcee, producer and engineer, Dot Rotten,  bringing up more of Dot’s past transgressions and relentlessly taking aim at some of the women in Dot’s life, both past and present.
This feud between these two emcees runs way deeper than music, which is very apparent when you listen to the words in each diss track. Though this back and forth seems a little one sided at present, with P Money firing back 3 times after Dot dropped one track. Dot Rotten’s past behaviour suggests this lyrical war isn’t going to end any time soon.
The above is seemingly what set P Money on a rampage, after personal shots were fired, attacking his credibility and character it was clear that a response was absolutely necessary, but was a 3 track EP what we were looking for from P Money?
You decide, check out the Snake EP, and let us know your thoughts on the whole thing, is it a step too far? Is there no rules in love and war? Should Dot Rotten reply? It’s mad, Snake EP 2 is apparently on the way regardless of any reply. Damn.

Today is a huge day for rap crew 67 as their highly anticipated album The Glorious Twelfth is finally available for fans. In celebration of the project’s release, the Brixton Hill drillers drop the visuals for the projects title track.
Becoming the third piece off the project after Waps and Before Tour, Glorious Twelfth see’s the five man rap crew go back to their old roots, “Here we took it old school. Glorious Twelfth is us back in our natural mode. This track is letting everyone know it’s that time again – pure 67”, the drillers told I-D about the song. “It’s giving fans what the love, it’s hype, it’s the product of us back in our natural studio setting – pure weed, hella goons, a good atmosphere”.
The production is handled by Munroe who provides ominous keys, haunted melodies, and, of course, a heavy bass, while the five-strong drill crew individually spray their unapologetic bars, with each artist owning their distinctive flow. Liquez kicks off the track rapping “Still pull up on shit, big hand gun, you know what I bring/ so boy don’t slip, if I rise my skeng I swear I won’t miss”, the rest seamlessly follow taking it in turns to flex about guns and street endeavours.
With the track name ‘Glorious Twelfth’ referencing the shooting season (August 12th) for Britain’s wild birds it was only right for the boys to hit the country side for the video. Directed by Luke Carlisle the crew are styled in typical British shooting attire while toting some heavy artillery.
The 67 rap crew first caught our eye when they dropped the menacing Let’s Lurk, featuring UK rap godfather Giggs. Since then, we’ve kept them firmly in our sights as the drillers have continued to craft sinister spine-shaking drill hits. Following 2016’s Lets Lurk Mixtape, the boys finally dropped their brand new EP today The Glorious Twelfth which you can finally listen to here.

DEAD MAN’S SHOES’ FT. SK AND BIG REBZ

Taken from his self titled EP released in February 2017, London-based artist Blaise Pascal releases his brand new music video for single ‘Dead Man’s Shoes’ featuring rappers SK and Big Rebz.
The authentic story-teller, Blaise usually takes inspiration from social, political and conscious commentary and in his new video, the soul artist was inspired by the police brutality issues in the US with black men being killed.
Police brutality has become an issue in the United States for quite a while. Policemen and women use excessive force when dealing with civilians, disregarding the enforcement laws they have sworn to uphold. The officers engage the civilian and take advantage of their duty. They then, attack the person until they are unable to fight against the officers… I mean, let’s be honest, it’s the black man that’s suffering and the ‘civilian’ is usually not even fighting anyway. According to the Washington Post’s database that tracks police shootings, 237 people have been shot and killed by police this year. That is 14 more people than had been shot and killed by police at this point last year.
In the video, Blaise uses lyrics such as:
“Philando Castile was shot and killed in his car by a police officer. His girlfriend and child were in the car. His girlfriend streamed it live on Facebook. Blaise Pascal comments
“I felt compelled to bring more awareness to such a horrific event. Fear can be so destructive. It inspired me to write this with the help of Mushtaq, SK & Big Rebz”

Green Borough MC-turned-political activist Saskilla has dropped an energetic new video for ‘JD Bag’, directed by Ruby Seresin and Boya Dee. The song serves as the opening track on his latest project, Godson 1.5, which dropped back in May. It was produced by CREXTOR.
The new video sees the former Nu Brand Flexxx star spitting outside a high-rise block of flats, interwoven with clips of a youth football match and Labour Party canvassing. In the lyrics, he dissects today’s culture, offering witty critiques such as “Don’t need a man to tell me I’m great / They follow quotes in memes, they’re bait”. He also shouts out Streatham newcomer Dave as an artist who he currently rates.
Saskilla himself has added the song’s official lyrics to Genius, which you can check out here.
Godson 1.5 is available to buy now.
