Danger Mouse enlisted the help of Run the Jewels and Big Boi last month for a track titled "Chase Me," which was written for Edgar Wright's Baby Driver. Now, the song has gotten the music video treatment.

The Andrew Donoho-directed clip finds Danger Mouse and El-P tearing through the streets in a slick red Subaru, with El never missing a word despite some hair-raising manoeuvres from their driver. It isn't long before Killer Mike and Big Boi show up as part of the heist squad too.

Set to hit theatres June 28, Baby Driver follows a getaway car driver who relies on his personal soundtrack to succeed in his shady job behind the wheel. The film stars Ansel Elgort, Jamie Foxx, and Kevin Spacey and will feature cameos from Flea, Sky Ferreira and more.

As much as he is a beacon of happiness, Lil Yachty isn't above writing some more suggestive material, as evidenced by his Teenage Emotions cut "Dirty Mouth."

In a new video for the track, his surroundings are cleaner than his pen game, with the camera aggressively following him around an empty warehouse. Things don't stay spotless for long, as Yachty raps "That's why your auntie is a groupie / Huh, send me pictures of her coochie."

‘OUTTA DA HOOD’ ON NEW SINGLE

21-year-old Northampton MC Izzie Gibbs has blessed fans with visuals for a new song titled Outta da Hood. The track serves as the third single from the young grime upstart’s new EP, Yin Yang, and has been released just hours before the full project drops. Over a sample-based production by TantrumPRO, Izzie describes his aspirations to leave his gritty surroundings behind in pursuit of a more honest lifestyle.
On the track, he pays homage to two significant figures in grime’s history, playing on words to reference Ghetto’s song The Mountain (“I need to go to the mountains and recoup”) and old school lyricist Durrty Goodz (“I’m back on my dirt like Goodz”). The track’s message is concisely summarised in the outro, where Izzie tells the listener “I weren’t made to just stay on the block, man was born for something greater than that, just like every young G coming from the same circumstances as me”.
The video for Outta da Hood, directed by Kye Taliana, sees a young mum make a cunningly-planned getaway from her ends, and features a cameo appearance from Manga Saint Hilare. Izzie recently made a fleeting appearance on the Roll Deep veteran’s new album Outbursts from the Outskirts, featuring on the standout track Outburst001.
Izzie Gibbs’ new EP Yin Yang drops on 23 June via Dice Recordings. You can download it on Apple Music here.

‘TOP BOY’ IN NEW FREESTYLE

DC continues his reign on top.
The internal fire that has spurred the South London MC to keep his name buzzing through the past two years shows no signs of dimming as he comes through with a brand new freestyle titled Top Boy.
In the track DC provides some of his impeccable wordplay over twinkling keys and sparse drums courtesy of Nastylgia productions (which somewhat resembles Jackson 5’s – I Want You Back, or is it just me?). Lyrically on top form, but it’s his trademark delivery and flow that is second to none as he spits his rhymes with extreme clarity.
The visuals directed by AyChibs see the MC styled in his Moongang garms while he chills out on the block with his entourage. It doesn’t really get too much more eventful from this point, but less is more when you’re trying to focus on this impressive freestyle. Check it out for yourself above!

WATCHA SAY YOUNGS! Youngs Teflon’s timely return is fully welcomed as his latest release titled LIFESTYLE is just what the UK Rap scene needs this summer. The midnight drop may have caught the early sleepers off guard but this vid is a must watch, must hear, must rewind.
With a Reebok x JD Sports cosign under this belt, YT wastes no time addressing his unsigned status, rapping “They still wanna know why I ain’t got a deal, but the phone’s been booming yeah the line blown”. Youngs Teflon, like many artists at the moment is trying to bring that feel-good summer vibe but LIFESTYLE is unique, bringing road elements in the mix.
The vibrant visuals – directed by Chas Appeti are vivid with colour, while the production – handled by Nutty P is bouncing with excitement. Both go hand in hand to deliver an undoubtable summer banger and it’s no surprise that Youngs Teflon is rapping to the high standards we all know him for.

‘GIMME RESPECT’ IN NEW TUNE

Tempa is back with a banger, as he comes through with the brand new set of visuals for Gimme Respect. As the title suggest, Tempa demands that you give him respect as he spits “you’re looking at the realist spitter on deck” and “the UK’s finest” over a Swifta Beater- produced beat. The energy is tireless from start to finish delivering bars on why he’s the best on the mic.
The visuals are equally as satisfying and energetic with skyline shots of his neighbourhood and a couple of freelance dancers opening the track. The video then cuts to Tempa who spits his lyrics on camera with his entourage outside of a gritty garage and ends with a moodily lit house party filled with models and friends.
It’s about time we put some respect on his name so go check out the official video for Gimme Respect above!
