Bournemouth based DJ and producer J Fresh is a man that goes about his business quietly and efficiently. An example of this can be seen in his latest effort Juice‘ a nine track project that features Maxwell D, Ayo Beatz and So Solid Crew veteran Swiss. ‘Juice’ dropped in late April this year to little fanfare and was all produced by J Fresh himself. One of the highlights of that project is a cut called ‘Die Young’ which features the aforementioned Swiss in his element as he delivers some harsh truths over life and the finality of death.
‘Die Young’ has been given the visual treatment by Daz The Director and Troy Miller and follows the May release of J Fresh’s ‘Lock Down’ video which features Predz Uk, Yus and Tommy Turner. The greyscale video captures Swiss and J Fresh on the blocks as the clips that follow show a variety of youths in conflict. Co-directors Daz and Troy do well to capture the heart of Swiss’ introspective lyrics as he reflects on the childish ambitions and crime carried out to make money. The overall message is a strong one that encourages the youth to actually live their lives without getting into situations where they pick between being carried by six or judged by 12 (death or jail).

Big Tobz is back with another banger! The rapper has released the visuals to his brand new track, ‘No Behaviour’ and the video itself is an eye-full. Consistently hitting us with the sick videos, the rapper, who filmed the video abroad, never fails to surprise us.

We are already used to Hypo’s eccentricness and originality and this is exactly what he bring in with his new track “Killa”, produced by the internationally known, Bricks. Bricks has produced for international artists such as 21 Savage, Young Thug, Baka, Drake, Tory Lanez and more. As expected, he brought in the US trap type of vibe on his beat while Hypo and Chris Budden compliment it with the lyrics perfectly.
The video is a show off with attractive girls in summer suits, playing around while the artists sing. We can see a lot of ice on both Hypo and Chris Budden, as the video captions their neck and wrists. We also catch a glimpse of fellow East London’s Hackney rapper Asco, chilling in the background with other friends.
Chris Budden brings in his strongly influenced USA vibe and gives the track a wavy flow, finishing of on a high note with adlibs, specific to the genre.
The track sounds wavy and it is definitely a good summer tune. I like hearing different sounds in the UK music and I think Hypo and Chris Budden have definitely managed to deliver “Killa” in an innovative way.

After a  successful year so far, performing at Wireless Festival and even supporting IAMDDB at her London Show alongside 67, who she previously collaborated with on Wat Up, female MC Nadia Rose has made a return with her latest single.
Representing South West London, Croydon,  Nadia Rose has been shutting the female rap game down. With there not being many female MC’s, Nadia Rose certainly stands out for her vibrant aura and consistency. This time round she presents to us another vibe in Who U Talking 2. Opening up with an eerie guitar, we see flashing images in black and white of the woman herself, Nadia Rose is dressed in shades as she readies up to showcase her wavey rap skills. Throughout the video the lyrics to the song go with the title perfectly, Nadia Rose is sending shots to someone whilst her performance is drawing and hypes you up. She certainly out did herself on this one with the contagious chorus, and the director Kaz Ove also perfected the video for this tune.
This track is due to be a bad ass female anthem, it’s energy is crazy! Listen to the song above and let us know if you like it too.
