Janset - 'Mad (Intro)'

*THE SYNDICATE DOES NOT EXIST*
Janset

Following on from her slick 2016 EP ‘Keep It Humble’, north-London MC Janset is back for 2018 with a brand new four-tracker called ‘Suffer No More’ and here’s the first video from that new release.
‘Mad (Intro)’ sees Janset delivering quickfire lyrics in her typically energetic and charismatic way. The visual (directed by B Dot) is set in an abandoned building a secret location on the outskirts of London.
Jan’s penchant for a catchy chorus is showcased perfectly here and the track sets the tone for the rest of the EP, which is centred around themes relating to the essential aspects of human life. Produced by Felix Dubs, ‘Suffer No More’ indicates a growth in Janset’s style, looking outward at the world’s issues while also featuring moments of introspection.
The rest of the album includes tracks called ‘Wars’, ‘Peace’ and ‘Love’, each one a banger with Janset’s wordplay and wit delivering a conscious message throughout. It’s a further demonstration of Janset’s lyrical prowess and her ability to helm independent projects with confidence.

North London rapper Capo Lee has dropped visuals to high energy track ‘Dreams’ and it’s nothing other than a wave.  Initially with the audio released in November last year which was swag for your ears, Capo had to do it for the man with the swag like pap and deliver an abstract and well illuminated video.
Consisting of shots and soft camera focus with estates, corridors and corner shops for backdrops, the visuals are sit well with the audio. You can expect scenes of Capo and friends looking swaggy on some gang ish throughout. Definitely one to watch and has been on my radar since his collaboration with Sir Sypro with ‘Stop Talk’.
Stop sleeping on him….. this one’s a vibe.

Is there anything that this man produces that isn’t gold ? I am absolutely in love with Zeph Ellis’s signature sound. The vibe on ‘Badmind’ is an infusion of all things felt when your riding that high, mellow, atmospheric, and wavey yet still managing to be upbeat at the same time is the prominent theme throughout this track.
Ladbroke Grove boys, DB Sound System finesse this beat nicely, remaining collected they can be seen dropping cold and clever wordplay. The video suits the audio well with visuals set in Barcelona, speaking on chasing money instead of females and males who like to carry on badmind, this track is a playful and upbeat sing a long.
Keeping it lighthearted, you can expect to see the boys being boys with scenes of them in front of desirable backgrounds which are garnished with palm trees and beautiful buildings, playing cards, and just generally looking swaggy on the roads.
A feel good track with colourful visuals to brighten up a miserable January.

It’s about time C1 started to get the attention he rightly deserves. The young rapper from Tulse Hill has delivered 3/3 with his solo vids and his talent is clear for everyone to see.
His latest visuals see him posted in the dark and gritty blocks with his boys, his equally dark bars sit well with the video and ”Shanks come long like we’re doing up fencing” is a bar that had to get replayed a couple times.
The kid is cold and its a matter of time before he’s called up to drop a Next Up freestyle because he’s definitely one to watch.

CBE’s (Cash Grabbing Ent) S13 makes his debut on the Link Up Tv with a cold, cold ( I said it twice because it’s that good) debut, Zach Grav shot the clean visuals. S13 has a ridiculously cold flow and he demonstrates a hook which will have you singing along by only the second listen.
It’s an impressive first outing for the newcomer in the U.K. Drill scene which seems to be introducing new talented rappers by the day. I’m certainly keen to see what his next release will have to offer.
Check out S13’s debut on the Link Up Tv channel.
