You know, Hollywood is gonna keep making these crappy movies if the audience keeps spending money to see it. That's what the problem is...the audience!

"Man oh man, I can't wait to watch this movie. Liam Neeson is my favorite. I wonder if his family will get kidnapped. I hope they'll have bad guys he has to fight."

Let's play a game. I will give you $100,000 if you can find a federal witness and point them out for us. If you find the witness, we will release you wife and son that we've kidnapped.

But, you'll have to do it before this train arrives at the last station. If you decide to play, you will find the money hidden in the toilet.

Yeah...we hide $100,000 in a toilet on a train in a public restroom. That's who we are. Any questions?

I have a question? Why was this movie made in the first place? They just put TAKEN and MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS together. It stinks!

Following on from Paigey Cake’s confessions via Twitter on New Years Eve (tweeting about being fed up of Lady Leshurr ‘indirecting’ her) there has been a lot of anticipation for tracks to be released, exposing the truth, and a potential clash. Lady Leshurr has now responded by dropping her first freestyle and diss track back to her, which was “recorded, shot, edited and released within 24 hours”.
The Brum native has certainly not held back on her new track ‘R.I.P’ firing shots left right and centre. She gets off to a fiery start spitting “All these porkie pies, why am I not surprised? Who got their V broken on Valentines?”. Leshurr also gives a nod to WSTRN referencing two of their iconic tracks with the lyrics “I was never in2 you but I made u bendova like WSTRN”. As if to further disrespect Paigey Cake, Leshurr dropped this new freestyle yesterday (18th January) on Paigey Cake’s birthday.
This could potentially ignite a lyrical clash between the two MCs, I for one do not think this is over, and is only the beginning.

‘WHAT YOU WANT’

South London rapper Bonkaz is back with a brand new banger entitled ‘What You Want’, and the visuals show him a long way from home as he finds himself in the outdoors, running through a forest.
Bonkaz is proving that he’s back and that he is not playing games in 2018; his work output has definitely been mad recently.
Premiering on the GRM Daily channel ‘What You Want’ was produced by Wide Awake and the visuals shot by Gargoyle Media.
What did you guys think of this one? I love the production on it, the beat is wavy, and his combination of hip hop and trap bars, over the top, bangs.

‘LONG TIME’ VISUALS

After hitting the million mark with Section Boyz on Sun Goes Down, Belly Squad begin their new year with a video release for the playful and melodic Long Time. The trio, comprising of Ty Jombla, Yung Max and Ross Jombla, have thrived in a blend where Afrobeats meets London colloquialisms, creating comparisons that have been likened to east’s J Hus.
However, the group continue to demonstrate the difference in their particular brand of suave and street sounds, collectively and solely, with Ty impressing on hooks, and Yung Max grabbing full control on lead verses. Last and by no means least, Ross, complements the trio in his ability to interchange between both, with an ease that underpins Belly Squad’s essence.
Since adding to UK Rap archives with their 2017 EP (Banana), there has been keen interest in the next body of work. A second EP? An album? Whatever the next move is, they say you should start as you mean to go on. Year of the Belly? We hope so.
Check out the music video for Long Time above, which captures the group’s laid-back yet vibrant energy.

‘I’M THE GUY’

Premiered by yours truly, King of Funky Donae’O unveils latest music video to banger ‘I’m The Guy’ produced by himself.
There is no surprise that I’m The Guy is straight fire due to the proficiency the artist has in his craft. Donae’O can orchestrate a Funky track in no time – which he proves when undertaking Link Up’s ‘Can you make a track in 30 minutes?’ challenge, last November ’17. Donae’O’s work rate has been highly consistent, releasing superb tracks – which he continues in 2018.
Being true to its nature ‘I’m The Guy’ is an upbeat and vibrant track with a catchy chorus. The vocals laced on the track is standard Donae’O style. The artist switches up his tone when rapping which gives the tune a compelling contrast and adds personality.
The North West London artist looks suave in the visuals, he is definitely that guy. I’m The Guy is skank worthy, so turn up your headphones and skank out to this one. The song is off Donae’O’s latest funky album Party Harder which was released on New Years Day. He is  also performing at the Islington Assembly Hall on the 25 Jan.
Make sure you get your tickets now and check out his latest album!
