Alessi's Ark - 'Wives'

South London imprint Yala! Records wanted to have an impact.
Gathering the more creative aspects of London's guitar scene, the label wanted to add something different, a little bit more energy.
Thus far, they've certainly succeeded. A flurry of singles from YAK, The Magic Gang and more have put them on the map, while regular Yala! Sessions at their Bermondsey base have resulted in some beautiful videography.
Alessi's Ark stopped past the Yala! studio earlier this year, previewing material from upcoming album 'Love Is The Currency'.
The songwriter explains: "The core theme of 'Love Is The Currency' is our limitless ability to heal one another though music, healthy love, healing frequencies and working through previously unprocessed grief..."
Vivid Radio has nabbed a video performance from the session, a version of the subtle yet stark folk hymn 'Wives'.
Tune in now.

As his Bisc series continues to see Rival release a new track each week this year; the latest in a long line of releases is, WM, featuring Grim Sickers – which comes with a brand new set of visuals!
Whilst the two go back to back on the Ten Billion Dreams produced beat, the video showcases a seemingly random mash of scenes, including a throwback scene of Lion King – which will only resonate with the adults of this generation. Lol, the irony.
Speaking on the video, Rival explains the animated gumbo, saying: ‘This is the shit I watch when I’m high.’
Well, I definitely agree; you might need to be high to fully appreciate the artistic value in this particular video. Pree the visuals above and let us know your thoughts.

No Case - "Good Day"

Mystery rapper No Case has unveiled the visuals to his solo track entitled Good Day.
First of all, I have so many questions for No Case: where did you come from, why have I not heard of you sooner and how do you manage to be so cold? The anonymous rapper has somewhat come out of nowhere, unless I’m missing something, with the most genuine flow – and has taken over my playlists.
A month ago, we introduced you to the visuals for a collaborative track entitled Issues with No Case, Syikes and Mike Stones. Issues is real raw rap that gives you an eerie-like reminiscent feel when you listen to, and watch, it. Ever since it was first played, it’s been a part of my daily playlist. I’ve also been wondering who No Case is and where I could get more of his music.
Well luckily, No Case has just unveiled a new track entitled Good Day – along with visuals. It seems as though Good Day is the artists debut solo track and it is so good that it’s been on repeat for half an hour already.
Good Day has a fly west coast vibe to it, the beat is so absolutely cold it’s insane. So cold that you have to listen to the track at least three times – for the beat, for the bars and for the two combined. Of course, you’ll end up playing it over and over again.
The visuals, directed by Flash Johnson – who also directed Issues, see a masked No Case in a series of locations: empty road-ends, derelict buildings and Mula Cake’s clothing store. The visuals are dark and serious – and come at the perfect time with Halloween season approaching. He carries himself with so much sauce in the visuals that you must assume that rapping so skilfully is effortless for him. Some artists have just got it and No Case is definitely one of them.
As he is extremely low key, which you can tell from his name and his disguised image, there are so many questions as to where this wavy rapper popped up from. However, the mystery adds to the artists alluring appeal.
When I tweeted how cold Good Day is, No Case responded: “It’s the beginning watch what I do” – which is such an excitement statement coming from him.
No doubt that I will be watching what he does with his music, and you all will be kept in the loop because we don’t want to miss a thing from him!

With Morning After now among us, Toronto duo dvsn are throwing some more weight behind the recently released album with a video for "Mood."

The clip was directed by LeSean Harris, and it takes the song name quite on the nose, as woman spends the video, well, setting the mood. We don't want to spoil anything too big, but the video does feature dvsn singer Daniel Daley.

You can watch "Mood" play out for yourself below.
