South London’s Kadiata comes through with a brand-new visual to his track entitled ‘Art Hoes’. The track was previously released with a psychedelic lyric video in November of last year, but seeing as the song is such a vibe, I think it was only right that he followed up with an official video to kick off 2018. W

hen speaking to Complex, Kadiata described ‘Art Hoes’ as “the latest execution of the genre I embody, one I call ‘Art Trap’. It’s a blend of proper ratchet, ignorant trap music, classy sonic structure and a deep, substance-driven subject matter”.

Produced by the man himself, this sonically smooth, wavy sounding track most definitely fits his above-mentioned description, as the visual which was also directed and edited by Kadiata, sees a woman shamelessly twerking inside the classy structure of Pimlico’s Tate Britain Gallery, whilst he flexes with the mandem.

OFB’s main men Headie One & RV are back at it with a brand-new visual for their latest drop entitled ‘Know Better’, launched exclusively on Link Up TV. The past week has been filled with videos, stories, tweets, and rumours of many on-goings in the scene, and in amongst all of it, Headie One’s name was at the forefront (if you know you know). Nonetheless, it hasn’t taken long to receive a prompt response from Headie One & RV to address all the talking and let the people know what’s really gone on.

After teasing everyone with a snippet yesterday, Headie One & RV dropped this sharply executed and highly anticipated track at midnight, and along with the fact that it addresses the incident that had everyone talking during the past week, the track is also very hard.

Directed by Myles Suave, the visual sees the two drillers in the studio as they deliver pure crud from start to finish over the cold and eerie 808 Melo produced beat. So much crud in fact, that HeadieOne had to ‘shh’ many punchlines in his verse. There may be a question of whether they actually needed to address the situation on a track, as there may be some risk that comes with talking publicly on certain topics, but all in all, there’s not much more to say about this one, the track does all the talking.

Papi and Dimzy bring the Belaire and AU Vodka bottles out in the video for Dirtbags. We already know from 67’s previous videos that they like a vibrant theme, and it is no different in this collaboration with Papi.

The video only dropped yesterday and is already on 34k views. 67 have their merchandise on display in the visuals with the video girls wearing personalised masks.

Fredo has made it clear that he is sill going to keep providing fans with what they want by unleashing visuals to new single ‘Rapping & Trapping’ ahead of his new EP ‘Tables Turn’ dropping on 9th February.

2017 was an amazing year for Fredo where he proved that he was back and he was better with the releases of the hood anthems ‘Like That’ and ‘Change’ both which have gained over 8 million views on YouTube. On top of that he dropped a sick collab with Not3s ‘YRF’ in December to round off his successful year.

Fredo is showing us that his 2018 will also be all about his music after announcing that he will be performing at Wireless Festival (07/07/18) last week. ‘Rapping & Trapping’ is due to be another hood anthem with Fredo’s distinctive flow and relatable lyrics where he’s open about the gritty tales of the road life as well as the flashy lifestyle which he has earned through his hard work.

The video was directed by Toxic The Director who has worked alongside Fredo in previous videos.  As always Fredo has his boys by his side while he shows his luxurious lifestyle of designer clothes, chains and cars. The video falls into 3 settings, one of which Fredo is visiting his boys grave, showing he’s keeping it real and still remembers his people who have been there for him before his fame. The other one being a black back-drop of Fredo and his boys just chilling together smoking and the third one being Fredo sat on a stool by himself while he raps.

Silwood Nation is still on a fire, bringing the heat from late last year over to the new year. Members of the collective seem to be taking over the UK Drill scene with their work rate with freestyles and countless tracks including Vigilant Goons, HBK and Whisky Shit. Silwood Nation is back with yet another tune released by two of Silwood Nation’s finest N.A and Trigga T. The tune is called No Love No Hugs, produced by Lowkz Beats.

Both artists go in on a cold instrumental with fresh bars addressing the harsh life of their profession. The silly gang members are seen switching between street and smokey visuals. The track can be included in the collective of bangers the group have created.
