LADIES' CODE memorial concert in August

*THE SYNDICATE DOES NOT EXIST*

Ladies' Code is preparing for a memorial concert in August in honor of its deceased members RiSe and EunB.
Polaris Entertainment shared plans for the concert, stating that it will be held in Tokyo.
"RiSe grew up in Japan and the members always wanted to pursue activities in Japan, so we are planning a memorial concert in Japan," the agency said.
The upcoming concert will be Ladies' Code's first group activity since the group was involved in a fatal car accident in September 2014. Despite the concert, there are no concrete plans for the group's comeback.
Ladies' Code is currently in a training period and is focusing on dance and voice lessons.

ZOO LEGACY "She'll never Fall in Love"

*THE SYNDICATE DOES NOT EXIST*
Zoo Legacy"She'll Never Fall in Love" (video)
Ottawa hip-hop/rock mashers Zoo Legacy have never released a full-length album, but they've got a couple of EPs to their name, and soon they will have another one. Departures will be out this summer, and they've premiered a video for the track "She'll Never Fall in Love" ahead of time.

The song charges out of the gate with a mix of R&B and rock, as echoing guitars and soulful hooks mingle. Once it shifts into the verse, the hip-hop influence rises to the surface with half-rapped/half-sung vocals. In the accompanying clip, we see shots of the band performing against a plan white background while a woman stares impassively at the camera and dark smoke ripples in dramatic slo-mo.

This song, along with the rest of Depatures, was produced by Gus Van Go and Werner F. at the Boiler Room Studios in Brooklyn. The video was filmed by Vinoth Varatharajan. Scroll past the band's live schedule below to watch it.

Tour dates:

06/18 Toronto, ON - Sneaky Dee's (NXNE)
07/03 Ottawa, ON - Mercury Lounge

DAMAGED BUG "Jet in Jungle"

Damaged Bug"Jet in Jungle" (video)
Thee Oh Sees' John Dwyer recently resurrected his solo project Damaged Bug, and is set to release a new LP titled Cold Hot Plumbs next week. But before it officially lands, he's shared a new video for previously shared album cut "Jet in Jungle."

Video director S. Wadsworth Adams takes a fairly literal approach to the song's accompanying visuals, which feature a creepy-looking puppet flying a plane through a jungle.

Give the video a watch in the player below to see him navigate the animated hills, trees and clouds. Cold Hot Plumbs arrives on June 1 via Dwyer's ownCastle Face Records

New Rock Heroes: SINGLE MOTHERS

*THE SYNDICATE DOES NOT EXIST*
Single Mothers"Patricide / Feel Shame" (video)
London, ON act Single Mothers have revisited last year's divisive Negative Qualities to treat two songs to a new music video.

Both "Patricide" and "Feel Shame" comprise the soundtrack to a new clip, which was directed by Sean McLeod. The video showcases a southern chapel, where the church-goers swelter in the heat as they listen to a riled-up preacher deliver the song's lyrics. Keeping with its on-the-nose critique of church culture, it ends with the entire group drinking the Kool-Aid.

Watch the video for "Patricide / Feel Shame" below.

MAJOR LAZER "Music is the Weapon"

*THE SYNDICATE DOES NOT EXIST*
Major Lazer Name New Album 'Music Is the Weapon'
Major Lazer's latest album isn't even out yet, but Diplo's dancehall-focused project have already set their sights on the follow-up. With Peace Is the Mission due out on June 1, they've announced that their next album will be called Music Is the Weapon.

Speaking with inthemix, band member Walshy Fire said, "For sure, we're gonna release another album. We already have a name for it, it's called Music is the Weapon, and it's gonna come out later this year or early next year for sure…. It'll have a few more club songs, a few more festival songs… but it'll be in the same spectrum, just super-well-written songs with really great production that the entire world can understand."

Judging by the title, we're assuming that Music Is the Weapon is some sort of a continuation of Peace Is the Mission. Stay tuned for more details about the album as they emerge.

Meanwhile, Major Lazer recently got their own cartoon series, so they've been extremely busy as of late.

D.O.A. is still alive!

D.O.A. Detail 'Hard Rain Falling'
Following a crowdsourcing campaign to help fund the recording sessions to D.O.A.'s new Hard Rain Falling, the long-running Vancouver punk vets have now revealed all the details behind their 16th full-length album. Band leader Joe "Shithead" Keithley will issue the album on CD come June 23 and on vinyl come August 21 through his own Sudden Death Records

As previously reported, D.O.A. started working on the album after Keithley opted to come back to the band following an unsuccessful political run. The new 12-song set had the punk rocker looking back at his early days for inspiration.

"When I started writing songs for Hard Rain Falling I listened to our early stuff like Hardcore 81 and the Disco Sucks EP, and I tried to take same direct to the point, wild and political approach," he had previously said in a press release. "So it's back to D.O.A.'s roots the way we are approaching this album."

Lyrically, the new album is said to look at a wide swath "of modern and horrible screwups, from racism to street gangs to war to environmental degradation." This would seemingly be reflected in politically charged song titles like "The Cops Shot a Kid," "Warmonger," "Racism Sucks," or "Not Gonna Take Your Crap Anymore."

You'll find the full tracklisting details down below.

While Keithley didn't make it into office, D.O.A. have been politically active via their music, and with their recent "No Oil Pipelines in BC Tour," which opposed plans for the Kinder Morgan pipeline that would run through his hometown of Burnaby, BC.

As previously reported, June 23 also marks the re-release of the group's John Peel-recorded Don't Turn Yer Back (On Desperate Times)

*Warning: PIRATE RADIO presentation*

Why should the French get to have all of the fun? When it comes to Lui Magazine and their new spread featuring Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, we're just glad to get to enjoy a little bit of the action ourselves! Especially when it involves a hot, nude model.

Personally, I am a big fan of the French, their kissing skills are pretty on-point. Plus, they brought us these super-smokin' photos of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, so I truly couldn't be more than grateful right now!

ANYA IVY joins #BabyGotBoobs

*Warning: PIRATE RADIO presentation*

Hot beauty Anya Ivy is just showering and minding her own hot, young, naked business when she is joined by Xander Corvus over at Brazzers' "Baby Got Boobs" site.  Corvus escpaed a run-in with Ivy's dad over something to do with Corvus dating Ivy's sister and Corvus ends up trying to hide in the bathroom.  Before Corvus brought his drama in there, Ivy was very peacefully just rubbing one out.  I am a total fan of shower masturbation.  It is usually a calm place to get one's masturbation business done.
Corvus stumbles in trying to avoid Ivy's dad and well, Ivy offers help but well, like many things in life, that help comes with conditions.  Ivy demands some help in her original goal of getting off in that shower.  Yay!  She soaps and strokes his dick down to its maximum hardness before rinsing the soap off to suck him.  That all looks like it made his cock feel amazing.  So fucking cool.  I don't have a dick and I want to know how that felt.  The fucking is fun stuff too.  Ivy is so pretty and this looks like a great time.
