Brentford’s very own Songwriter/Rapper Alfie Wraps, best known for hits he’s co-written with Dappy, is showing us why he’s a more than capable artist with new release ‘Broken Record’.
Alfie who was formally known as Alfie Danger in the beginning of the 2000’s when he was in the earlier stages of his career, speaks candidly in his new honest and insightful track. Speaking on his experiences of the criminal justice system which began at the mere age of 11, Alfie takes us on a journey telling all about his most recent stint in HMP resulting in himself and Dappy being charged, leading to a very public case which was heightened by the media.
Wanting to set the record straight and put the situation out there in the air himself, Alfie does well in talking facts whilst still keeping the track musically appealing.
The video is simple and reflective suiting the lyrical content well. Not fitting the stereotypical mould Alfie Wraps puts an interesting spin on rap. A lot more interesting work to come from this artist in the next few weeks.
