Taking a different approach to his other music videos, veteran Dizzee Rascal switches up visuals for ‘Bop N Keep It Dippin’. This is another track from his sixth studio album ‘Raskit’ which is out now.
Directed by Romain Chassaing, the visuals present Dizzee Rascal as a gangster in pursuit to find a guy who has stolen money from him. However, this is just on the surface – the combination of the lyrics and video can definitely be interpreted in many ways, depending on how you perceive it. This music video is a quality piece illustrating dark humour and depicts the grime MC in a way which we have never experienced.
The track is an energetic one which fits the narrative of the visuals. Honestly, I didn’t expect such a superb story line and the visuals is my top 3 favourites of Dizzee’s.
