Podgy Figures returns with a brand new collaborative track entitled Mash Works, with Dot Rotten on the hook.
The track sees Podgy lay down 3 high quality verses over a smooth but bass heavy instrumental produced by Dot Rotten, himself. Dot also delivers the hook, providing hype ad-libs to re-enforce Podgy’s bars as he raps about “going from corn beef to eating steak”. Witty lines like “I see more green than a gardener” and “no desert but I get cake”, Podgy demonstrates how he has the ability to craft clever one liners which will ensure repeated listens.
The hook provided by Dot Rotten is extremely catchy and repeated refrains like ‘mash works, brother man, mash works’ is sure to get stuck in every listener’s head.
The visual itself sees Dot and Podgy rapping in a sunny foreign location, against a seafront backdrop on a beach with palm trees. This gives off a really relaxed and tropical vibe and definitely enhances the song.
