PALOMA FAITH "I love this award"

Brit Awards winner of Best Female Solo Artist Paloma Faith says that winning the award "means everything", especially as she had lost out on so many times before.
The star, who performed her song Only Love Can Hurt Like This in an impressive shower on stage, spoke to Mirror Celeb on the red carpet ahead of the bash revealing that she'd brought all of her nearest and dearest to the ceremony.

"I’ve lost three already, so I’ve got nothing really to lose that I didn’t have already," she told us. "I can only gain tonight."
And that she did!
She also sweetly added of the award: “It means everything to me.”
Tonight saw the 33-year-old take home the coveted gong during the star-studded ceremony.

It was no easy task either as the was faced with beating a number of world-renowned artists.
Other nominees included Ella Henderson, FKA Twigs, Jessie Ware, Lily Allen.
In her emotional speech, she said: "Wow. I'm so moved. It's been a long time coming.

"It's taken me 14 years to stand up here and accept this award and it means so much to me."
London’s O2 Arena plays host to the 2015 Brit Awards, with hosts Ant and Dec taking over the reigns from James Corden.
With stars such as Taylor Swift and Kanye West in attendance, the night was sure to pack a punch.
British stars Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran are battling it out for the most coveted awards on the night, as US stars Kanye West and Madonna are set to perform.
