A couple days ago, Abra Cadabra tweeted a promise saying ‘I’m going to end this year strong for my fans and haters’. Following the tweet, the Tottenham raised rapper released his new tune ‘Pon Dem’ with an official video!
The new tune brings back his gritty, drill tone as heard in well known songs ‘Robbery’ and ‘Art Of War’. In the track Abra Cadabra raps about the streets, females, mandem and how he is willing to do anything ‘Pon Dem’ in order to keep living. The chorus where the term ‘Pon Dem’ is constantly repeated makes the tune rather catchy, showing it is due to be a banger! The video has been directed by well known director Suave, who also has worked along the sides of Tion Wayne, Yxng Bane, Ice City Boyz, etc.
Pon Dem starts with Abra Cadabra saying ‘But I came from nothing, I ain’t ever going back’, which in all honesty he has nothing to worry about. Since the release of his single ‘Robbery’ in 2016, he has been doing nothing but going up in the music scene. The track ‘Robbery’ has had a remix made with the dynamic duo Krept and Konan which hit an amazing 12 million views. He has worked along side Kenny Allstar, Belly Squad, Sneakbo and many more artists. We look forward to what else the lyrically talent Abra Cadabra has in store for us.
