*VIVID RADIO is on the air*
A highlight of Charlotte Day Wilson's debut CDW EP was the hymn-like waltz of "Work." Now, the track has got the music video treatment.
Directed by Fantavious Fritz, the new clip shows a group of of people descending an escalator, with Wilson popping up every so often to deliver her vocals. The video points to a greater statement concerning unity, one that has only grown more powerful in the wake of this weekend's Women's Marches around the globe.
In a press release, Wilson called the video's creation "an afternoon of camaraderie with an amazing group of women, genderqueer and trans folks from my community in Toronto. People got to know each other, make new friends and bask in the powerful energy that occupied an otherwise ordinary, mundane space."
CDW is out now, and can be streamed here. Watch the video for "Work" in the player below, and read our interview with Wilson here.
