LOW "Lies" release

*THE SYNDICATE DOES NOT EXIST*

Slowcore vets Low recently released their album Ones and Sixes, and as they go about touring in support of the record, they have shared a video for their LP track "Lies." 

The song is wistfully mellow despite having a relatively upbeat, pop-friendly bounce. The accompanying video emphasizes the bittersweet tone, as we see a Mexican-American worker trying to make his way and earning a living. 

Director Manuel Aragon said in a statement, "Diego is a jornalero — a day labourer, struggling to maintain his livelihood. Daily, he navigates between two very different realities: one, the worker, very much on the outskirts of society, unseen, unnoticed; the other, a Mexican-American 20-something, one half of a mixed-race couple trying to sustain their relationship and manage their cultural differences."
