Pop singer Taylor Swift has been accused of copying the concept of her Bad Blood video from a popular K-pop girl group.
As Taylor and Nicki Minaj got locked in a war of words over the rapper's VMAs snub, their fans flocked to Twitter to support them.
Siding with Nicki, one of her followers chose to point out what she thinks are similarities between the Love Story singer's recent star-studded Bad Blood video and one made by 2NE1.
The fan - @chaelinfenty – tweeted Nicki a series of pictures comparing Taylor's futuristic video to the girl band's video for their 2014 song Come Back Home.
The fan lined up similar scenes and captioned the shot: “Can we talk about how taylor's video isn't original and was copied from a group of four WOC, 2NE1.”
We have contacted a rep for Taylor for comment.
It all came about after Taylor accused Nicki of pitting "women against each other" after the Anaconda star admitted she felt snubbed after only receiving three nominations ahead of the upcoming awards ceremony.
Shortly after the nominations were announced on Tuesday, Nicki tweeted: "Hey guys @MTV thank you for my nominations. Did 'Feeling Myself' miss the deadline or...?
"If I was a different 'kind' of artist, 'Anaconda' would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well.
"When the 'other' girls drop a video that breaks records and impacts culture they get that nomination.
"If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year.
"I'm not always confident. Just tired. Black women influence pop culture so much but are rarely rewarded for it (sic). "
The Bad Blood star, who received a total of nine nods, including for Video of the Year and Best Female, clearly felt targeted by some of Nicki's cryptic tweets and replied: "I've done nothing but love &support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot.."
But Nicki fired back: "Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn't say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this.
"I'm still confused as to why u just tweeted me when I made it abundantly clear..."
She later added: "They're not missing the point, they're just attempting to overshadow the point. Oldest trick in the book."
Taylor then attempted to bury the hatchet by inviting Nicki to join her on stage at the event in Los Angeles on August 30.
She wrote: "If I win, please come up with me!! You're invited to any stage I'm ever on."
