POOL BOY "Control" release

Montreal art rockers Pool Boy are gearing up to release a new single called "No Expectations" on August 21, followed by their EP this fall, but before those arrive, Exclaim! has got your first look at the band's brand new video for "Control." 
  
The clip is the group's first, and it pairs the dreamy, shoegaze-y tune with dramatic black-and-white visuals. The camera follows a man through Montreal's parks, streets and metro system until he settles onto the couch in his apartment for the evening. Things take a drastic turn as the setting switches to the forest and our protagonist weaves his way through the wilderness as Pool Boy play on. 
  
It may start off with a glimpse at the mundaneness of everyday life, but the video soon evolves into a suspenseful, thrilling chase. Watch the video for "Control" in the player below.
