Emcee Nico Lindsay drops visuals to sick track Codename Lin.
This UK Grime tune is a banger which substantially boils down to his bar pattern. Throughout this track the North London artist switches up the verse format when lacing the instrumental. Talk about lyrical content! The fact that Nico Lindsay – himself produced the track – gives him complete creative control to spit like this. This, of course, works in his favour causing a coherent connection between the instrumental and his delivery.
The black and white visuals directed by Saoud Khalaf added to the overall vibe of the tune. Within Codename Lin, camera shots simultaneously align with the different styles of flow Nico Lindsay manipulated.
Nico Lindsay’s presence in the music scene is mostly track features and freestyles on a number of platforms such as BBC Radio 1xtra and Radar Radio. Codename Lin is a good look for the artist – demonstrating his cold flow. He obviously knows how to shell down the mic. This is a track for the real UK Grime listeners. You will not be disappointed.
