Luton artist Nafe Smallz is back, from what seems like a year hiatus, dropping a new music video to track Level Now which is taken off his recent album Movie Music.
The overall combination of elements presented to create this track and music video is quality. Everything including visuals, instrumental and style of flow is perfect. Shoutout to the producer Sean Murdz as the instrumental is cold. The way the bass disappears, builds up and drops gives the track an eccentric boost. Level Now is a reflective piece which is on another level. The track is not structured in the standard layout. Instead the instrumental allows the rapper to go hard, switching up his flow style – bar to bar – as if he’s going through the motions, purporting his thoughts; Even the rasp of his tone suits the vibe of track. Level Now is definitely a different side to the artist and it is a very good look.
Loving the credits at the beginning of the music video mimicking a movie trailer and the constant cinema/theatrics visuals which fits the theme of his album.
Nafe Smallz released album Movie Music a week ago features some big artists in the game including Chip, Section Boyz and Stefflon Don. Tracks Gucci and Wanna Know can also be found on the new album.
