Little Simz is back with her debut single ‘Good For What’ and is not holding back. The female artist raps about how “someone’s got to do it right, someone’s got to open doors”. This is a very valid point as there aren’t enough female artists in the UK getting recognition. Little Simz is here to change that clearly by reasserting her presence in the industry since she was the only UK MC to do the BET cypher this year. This makes Simz the first independent UK emcee to achieve that.
‘She’ as the female artist likes to go by on Twitter was certainly styling on them in this latest music video with her patterned shirt and oversized shades to match her exotic surroundings. The tracks under three minutes long, but Simz seems to manage to get everything off her chest.
This tracks been taken off her upcoming LP ‘Stillness in Wonderland’ debuting on November 3rd.
