Toronto electro-pop unit For Esmé have teamed up with the Canadian Mental Health Association for the video for "Just Yet," and VIVID has your first look at it.

The track comes from the band's debut album, Sugar, and the video tells a story of a journey from darkness into light. The clip was directed by D.W Waterson, and it aims to generate discussion about mental health.

"For me, the song is about the journey to refind yourself after experiencing an emotionally devastating moment," Waterson said. "When you're dizzy within your own darkness and you have to relearn who you are. Wandering through new territory you ultimately grow, becoming stronger then you once were before, rising up to a new you."

The video starts off in a swirl of dramatic darkness, all blue lights, crashing waves and singer Martha Meredith lying alone on the forest floor. As she sings about how she "finally found a way," though, she literally finds her way out of the gloomy, loneliness of the forest and moves into the light.

Further showing their support for individuals suffering from mental health issues and the organizations that help them, the band will donate proceeds earned from the sale of the single and album throughout the month of December to the CMHA holiday gift program. You can purchase the music and make a donation over at For Esmé's Bandcamp page.
