Every sickness needs a cure and, what with the news that our pals across the pond have elected the feminist, definitely not racist, bastion of truth that is Donald Trump to be their next president, it’s only right that we try and do our bit. If music be the food of love, and all that…
Mancunian dancehall ambassadors Swing Ting round out a sterling set of 2016 releases with a link-up between the clubnight-cum-label’s co-founders Samrai & Platt and Jamaican vocalist Alexx A-Game.
The tune, a reworking of reggae-hop hit ‘A-Game Everyday’, blends a bouncing acid bassline with the kind of infectious rhythm that typifies all that Swing Ting are about. And it’s been doing plenty of damage on the dancefloor this year already, with the likes of Murlo, Toddla T and The Heatwave giving it regular rotations.
The video was filmed out in Kingston, Jamaica earlier this year, in conjunction with a daytime session organised alongside the inimitable Equiknoxx collective.
The track drops on Friday via all your usual digital outlets.
