Adna went through a period of travel, a period of reflection, before finding her roots in Berlin.
Using the city as a base, the songwriter has begun to sketch out plans for her third record, allowing these fresh surroundings to seep into her music.
New cut 'Overthinking' leads the way. It's a beautifully introverted return, all hushed ambience and slow-moving melody.
Adna says that the song "was written about a year ago in some kind of apathy state of mind, inspired by that time and all about the contrasts."
"I believe we all have a dark place inside of us, some more aware of it than others, and we all have our own way of dealing with it. I tried embracing mine, which led to finding a home within it, but also of course - the making of this record."
