Melbourne's TERRY are at once skeletal, chaotic, and wholly, utterly charming.
Cult heroes in their native Australia, the band's ramshackle yet entirely precise songwriting recalls early Flying Nun, or even the punk end of C86.
Debut album 'TERRY HQ' arrives this summer via Upset The Rhythm, with the Melbourne band arranging a one off show.
Vivid Radio is able to unveil the video for 'Hot Heads', and it's a savage yet gleeful piece of oddball post-punk. The band explain: "Terry is packed tightly into a Volkswagen golf hurtling along the Xpressway in the rain, 5pm and the sun is already gone, just a grey haze interrupted by glowing factories and headlights. Everyone is wearing berets except the stranger in the car, he goes by Big Mac or Mr Scissors, he has laid out the plans for Terry's trip. Sweaty backs. Clippity clop."
Check it out now.
Catch TERRY at the Victoria in Dalston on September 12th.
