Alix Lynx dreamed of being a star since she was a teen

Alix had secretly wanted to become an adult entertainer since she was a teen, but she kept her feelings hidden for years.
Feeling like she couldn’t tell anybody about her true passion, she pushed her dreams to the back of her head and instead followed a more traditional academic career path.
"Porn is something I wanted to do since I was a teenager," said Alix.

“Some of my friends knew. [When I was a teenager] I came across a stack of Playboy magazines at a friend's," she revealed in an interview with Cosmopolitan.com.
“At that age, I was like: ‘Holy cow, these girls are beautiful.’ I wanted to be like that.”

But after seeing a documentary about the adult film industry at the age of 15 or 16, Alix realised that she didn’t want to strip off for lads’ mags but do porn instead.

With a BA in TV broadcasting and an MBA in social media marketing under her belt, she started working as a communications executive but found that the work wasn’t steady.

When a friend of hers mentioned he went on webcam sites, Alix thought it’d be a good way to make some cash.
And after raking in £285 for three hours work she wondered why she was staying in a job that only paid her £643 a week.
Over the next year, the blonde bombshell started flirting on webcam full-time. By the time her 25th birthday was approaching, Alix decided it was time to try and make her dream of becoming a porn star a reality.
She contacted some agencies before flying out to California to meet with her current employers.

Alix explained: “It was the first time I had gone off to find myself. It was scary.

“Porn is something I wanted to do since I was a teenager”

"I rented a car and drove to the model house (a condo owned by the agency). I met the other girls and my agent.
"They took me to different studios to meet people at the company. I got acquainted, set shoots up, and I loved every minute of it.”

Alix’s family were none the wiser until last year when she starred in a video demonstrating oral sex tips on a lolly pop – and it went viral.
Despite the shock, she said her family have been supportive while not necessarily approving of her career choice.
And now Alix is hoping to make a name for herself in the porn industry and build her own empire.

She said: “I just want to prove you can do whatever you want. I look around at people in my circle and see that deep down, they have a dream but won't do it because of the stigma.
“They'd rather stay in the bubble working for the man.”
